What to Expect
You can expect approximately 2 hours of one-on-one interaction and fun with all of our residents. We don't force anyone to participate if they don't want to. Mostly everyone here is friendly, curious, and eager to meet new friends. We are confident you will have one of the best days ever getting to connect with some of the coolest people you'll ever meet!
For the best experience, go ahead and plan in advance to get a little dirty. Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting muddy, smudgy, or poop on. This way you can get down on their level to really get to know them without worrying about your clothes. Hats, sunscreen, and water are all good ideas to bring along. Please use the restroom prior to your arrival, this is also our private residence so access to the home and facilities are limited.
Out of respect for all of our residents please do not bring any food or beverages derived from animals and/or their byproducts. We are a vegan sanctuary and do everything we can to spread compassion and raise awareness for farmed animals and the exploitation they endure, making animal sanctuaries necessary at all.
